Real Urban EDC Kit: What to Prepare For Part Four
Rarest of the events to prepare for is man-made violence:
- Random Acts of Violence
- Terrorism
- Active Shooter
- Rioting and Looting
- Civil Disobedience and Social Unrest
Rare events like these can turn the most violent, and requires the most skills and training to defend and save lives against.
If you can't be armed, be armored.
Unfortunately, many urban environments are the most restrictive when it comes to carrying firearms for self-defense.
So, the next best thing you can do is bulletproof everything.
- Wear a thin, concealable body armor carrier underneath your shirt daily.
- Other clothing lines feature t-shirts, jackets, hoodies, and other garments for the upper body with the body armor set into the clothing.
- Be constantly protected against unexpected loud noises like gunshots with active in-ear hearing protection, also worn daily.
- Consider getting ballistic grade lenses for your glasses, or a pair of sunglasses rated for protection.
- Finally, for those of you that spend much of your routine driving to or from work it is highly recommended you look into bulletproofing your vehicle or buying one that already has the work done.
This level of preparation places you in a different league of protection.
